Frequent questions
What do I pay for if I only watch my equipment?
The gateway by the hour while it is enabled, the values it reads and the readings you keep. A gateway with a few devices read every minute costs a few euros a month; history is usually the largest part once it builds up.
How do I keep storage costs level?
Set how long readings are kept, for the whole workspace or for single values. Once history reaches that limit, the oldest readings are removed as new ones arrive, and the monthly cost stops growing.
What does the AI cost?
The Free level costs nothing and answers simple questions. Standard and Pro are charged by the tokens a reply reads and writes, at the model provider's prices; a typical reply costs a few cents. You choose the level for every message.
Will I know before my balance runs out?
Yes. Low-balance alerts warn you early, based on your recent spending, and you can set the threshold yourself.
What happens if the balance runs out?
Charges can take the balance down to −€10. Below that, the account's workspaces pause. Nothing is deleted, and they resume as soon as you top up.
What does the €30 voucher cover?
Every MC251 and MC252 comes with a €30 voucher for Overvis HMI usage. Redeem it in the app; for a small site it covers the first months.
Are prices with VAT?
Usage prices include 23% VAT. Equipment prices exclude VAT; it is added on the invoice.
Can prices change?
A new price list is published in the app before it takes effect, so you see the change in advance. AI prices follow the model provider's current prices.
Can I get a refund?
Any payment from the last 30 days can be refunded on request, after a manual check. Unused balance stays on the account.
