Novatek-Electro OB-215 (x2)

Acts as:

Sensor controller

Reads the value from pressure (4-20mA) or level (0-10V) sensor and sends it to the Modbus RTU (RS-485) line. Sensor can be installed on the pipe or on the hydroaccumulator.

Soft starter controller

Controls the pump's soft starter via an embedded 5A relay (needed if no inverter is installed). A Modbus-compatible inverter can be connected directly to the OPCB-221B.

Impulse meter counter

Counts impulses from the water meter and sends the data to the Modbus RTU line.

Acts as:

Communication controller

Collects data from all connected devices via Modbus RTU and sends it to the cloud. Also sends commands to the devices providing remote control.

Inverter data reader

Gathers additional data such as frequency, current, voltage, and power if an inverter is connected.

Overvis pumping solution is software-based; it can be configured for any available Modbus hardware. Our set is just a convenient way to get started quickly.

To connect your own equipment to the Overvis cloud, you will need the following:

  • Modbus-compatible communication controller - it is possible to use Raspberry Pi 3+ or other single-board computer with our firmware and USB/RS-485 connector.
  • Modbus-compatible I/O module for sensor data reporting.
  • Modbus-compatible impulse counter for meter data reporting.
  • Soft-starter or inverter with Modbus-compatible interface for your pumping equipment.
